LED Lamp for Bilingual Keyboard
Computer keyboards used for input in two languages display two characters on each key. To facilitate character recognition by operator, distinct different colors are often used for each set of characters.  Even in this case, switching from one character set to another require significant mental efforts from the operator and often results in errors.   Our invention* solve this problem. A lamp with high efficiency super bright LEDs (Light Emitting Diodes) generate light wavelengthes that closely match color of letters on a keyboard.   When key is illuminated with red light, red symbols virtually dissapear and green or blue ones increase in contrast.  When it is nessesary to type in other language, just click the switch and visibility of simbols is reversed.  Click here to view details in a separate page.

Video Screen Splitters

With these devices you can put images from two video cameras on the single video monitor.  This may be extremely useful when you need to find correlation between two different processes.  For example, if one camera images cells and another one is focused on pH meter display, you will be able to detect pH dependent changes in cell morphology with 1/30 second precision.  VSS-1 unit split screen either vertically or horizontally and allow to change area allocated to each camera and adjust camera gain. VSS-2 unit inserts variable size rectangle of camera 2 image into camera 1 field.  Both units work with any black and white analog cameras but one camera must have video synchronization input (usually standard BNC connector labeled "Gen. Lock" or "Sync.")

12 Bit USB Digitizer
As an alternative to expensive data acquisition systems we now offering an affordable AD/DA converter that may substitute more sophisticated machine in many applications.  It features four analog inputs, two 12-bit analog outputs, and four digital I/O connections. It is powered by the +5 volt USB supply from your computer.  No external power is required.  Enclosed TracerDAQ™* software allow easy installation of this digitizer on any Windows XP/Vista computer.  You can also design your own software application using enclosed drivers library for Microsoft or Borland C/C++  programming.  USB cable, software and PDF manuals on CD are included.  A full featured software for planar bilayer research is under development.

TracerDAQ™
This software product of Measurement Computing Corporation designed to work with ADA-1210 digitizer.  The application allows data to be acquired, analyzed, displayed and exported for further processing by standard software (Excel, Sigma Plot, Origin etc.).  In addition to Strip Chart three additional applications are included; an Oscilloscope, a Function Generator and a Rate Generator, all of which are accessed via a common, easy-to-use menu page.  Eight-channel strip chart application for logging and graphing data from analog or digital inputs features sampling at the speed of the board.  Basic version supplied free with ADA-1210 has  32K samples per channel data file size limit (sufficient for more than 20 minutes data recording at 25 samples/sec). TracerDAQ™ PRO  (Part # TDP-1) has added features and permit recording of up to one million samples per channel.

Picoamp-300B
This amplifier is a modification of PA-300 model.  In designet to work with new HS-2C headstage (shown on top of the unit) for cell electrophysiology applications.  This headstage has AxonTM type threaded connector for stable and easy microelectrode mounting, 1 mm diameter gold plated connector for ground electrode and 2-56 screw for system ground.  Headstage connects to the amplifier with our standard RJ-45 connector and backward compatible with PA-300 and even with BBA-02 units.  However, "B" model amplifier has added Zap circuit which generate short pulses of membrane breaking voltage and that is quite useful for converting cell "patch" to "whole cell" configuration. Additionally, offset and RC compensation ranges are increased to be compartible with glass microelectrodes. This makes PA-300B truly universal for both basic cell electrophysiology applications and for BLM research.  Once you decided to get to the basics of cellular phenomena using artificial lipid bilayers, you only need to replace HS-2C headstage with HS-2 or HS-2A, no recalibration required.
