LED Lamp for Bilingual Keyboard
Computer keyboards used for input in two languages display two characters on each key. To facilitate character recognition by operator, distinct different colors are often used for each set of characters.  Even in this case, switching from one character set to another require significant mental efforts from the operator and often results in errors.   Our invention* solve this problem. A lamp with high efficiency super bright LEDs (Light Emitting Diodes) generate light wavelengthes that closely match color of letters on a keyboard.   When key is illuminated with red light, red symbols virtually dissapear and green or blue ones increase in contrast.  When it is nessesary to type in other language, just click the switch and visibility of simbols is reversed.

Lamp is powered from a computer USB port and have standard USB-A plug on a 40 cm cord (this length is sufficient to reach USB port in most notebook computers).  Desktop users may need USB extension cable (Part # EC-1 or EC-3) or may choose to power lamp from AC wall transformer (Part # WT-5).  Many modern cell phone chargers have mini USB plug, if you have one of those you may also use it for the lamp with mini-USB to USB-A adapter (Part # UA-1). You can also chose type of the lamp base.  Thin (~2 mm) and lightweight plastic base (Part # LB-1) is designed for mobile computing but can be used with both notebook and desktop keyboards; natural oak base is for desktop keyboards (Part # LB-2).
Currently only English/Russian keyboard stickers are available (Part # RE-1B or G).  For other languages we offer blank white stickers (Part # BL-0) that you can label with letters of your choice.  Also, our partners in Ukraine have state of art printing equipment, and will be happy to print keyboard labels with any languages combination at very reasonable price.  Please send inquires to sales@eastsci.com.

Shipping Cost
We offer two standard shipping flat rate options for shipments within continental US: A) $7.00 per order for US Priority Mail (USPS), and B) $10 per order for UPS Ground or FedEx Economy. The most essential difference between these options is that packages sent via USPS are delivered without recipient signature and for this reason are hard to trace if they did not reach intended recipient.  While not a single shipment was totally lost during many years, please note that finding package delivered to right address is the recipient responsibility.  Cost of rush shipping (2 day, overnight etc.) is equal to rounded actual shipping cost plus $10 handling fee.

Warranty
All products are covered by 30 days unconditional money back warranty.  However, products must be returned undamaged and carefully packed in the original packaging.  18 month limited warranty covers all products (except keyboard stickers) against any defects or malfunction that may appear during warranty period under the normal use.  In the unlikely event of finding such defects we will replace or repair defective unit at no cost for you (excluding cost of one way shipping).  Prior to shipping product, please contact us to obtain return authorization and mailing address.
